Floral Decorating Retreat – Chateau de Bourneau – Loire Valley

A unique weekend ‘floral decorating’ with Laura Lee at the beautiful fairytale Château de Bourneau, (as featured on Channel 4’s Escape to the Château). Together we will set the scene in the gorgeous Salon ready for a gala dinner that will be held in that same room. Using seasonal flowers, foliages, squashes and fruits, the Salon will be enhanced with beautiful displays of all kinds which will include vintage French props. No hand tied bouquets or vase displays in this workshop but swathes of garlands, trees and quirky lamp stands will adorn the tables and surround. The gala dinner will be prepared and cooked by JB himself and will be authentic seasonal French fare. An atmosphere created for truly a wonderful evening.

The weekend includes accommodation in one of the period, original outhouses with fireplaces, all food and free flowing wine, workshops and all sundries needed for the classes. Absolutely no previous experience in flowers is needed.

After 40 years of floral decorating worldwide for a whole host of clients from royalty, celeb’s, film and TV, Laura is now turning her attention on sharing her abundance of knowledge in workshops with a difference, she will show you shortcuts, tips and a variety of designs that you could use if you are holding an event of your own or to use to impress your friends and family when entertaining at home, her sunny outlook makes her classes fun and very informative, she wants to bring out the ‘inner floral decorator’ in you.
