This is an absolutely glorious book; together Jane and Georgianna have created the most fascinating and beautiful book where you can completely lose yourself as you turn page after page of the most beautiful photographs of roses of every variety.
There are literally thousands of roses on offer, but the focus of this book is on classic, ageless and enduring roses, which they have classed as Vintage roses. These roses, Jane suggests, ‘have one thing in common; they are garden-friendly roses that celebrate the style and grace of the old…. Both Vintage roses and Old roses have seductive qualities, and they all produce graceful, generous, fragrant and accommodating flowers….. they are simply bewitching; a delight to both the eye and the nose.’
